Lifeline ZERO 360 Plumbed Fire Extinguisher Kit
Zero 360 represents over two and a half years research and development in producing a major step forward in motorsport safety. Containing 2.25kg of gaseous extinguishant distributing 1.5kg to the engine and 0.75kg to the cockpit through six discharge outlets. Performing in a similar way to the now banned Halon (BCF) systems Zero 360 has been approved by the FIA for use in international motorsport.
Zero 360 has moved the boundaries of motorsport fire suppression systems. Using only the finest materials in both its construction and installation kit this system performed extremely well in the FIA tests for plumbed in fire systems which were witnessed by the British Standard Institute.
The system has been awarded the FIA homologation number EX.017.03.
Zero 360 is significantly smaller and lighter than the current generation of FIA approved foam systems offering far better packaging within the confines of the modern competition vehicle.
Zero 360 uses compression technology to discharge its contents. Activated by a remote CO2 charge the cylinder is pressurised upon activation. Once the optimum pressure is reached the gas is discharged in any orientation in a very consistent spray pattern.
